I was a little let down with the enhanced version. I thought for sure it would have voice sync done correctly. That would be my suggestion to work on next. A proper voice sync adds a great deal of professionalism to even the most basic of images.

I like how the scenes played out in the later version. The smallest of changes helped it flow much smoother than the first attempt.

Love the animation, the humor was riding on a single joke, but at least you gave a lot of visuals to look at. Clever idea to have them on wheels, so you never have to animate them walking! The smooth movement helps the cartoon flow nicely. I appreciate the fact you used actual voices and mechanized them, that was well done!

With the exception of the two middle ones that had nothing really original to contribute, the first and last one had some pleasant animation to enjoy. I loved the first one, it was a swell parody. The last one was just cool to look watch. Most of your points were derived from a combo of those two alone. The duck one didn't really interest me, and although that was a nicely drawn hippo, the sound could use some creative tweaking to keep it interesting.

Not to worry though, there's been a constant flooding of crap in your absense. I think ppl want to challenge you for those turds now. *sigh*

I tend to rate collabs a lot harsher since the work of the whole is split among multiple artists. However after viewing the works, I scratched the nearly blank contribution out.

The graphics were best in the first one, non existant in the second, and tollerable in the last two. The ones that had music, as always had a nice selection. Also, as always the animation was quite minimal on all but the seemingly empty entry. It seems to me you're not even trying anymore to do collabs as you are to throw together a random piece to be used in whatever comes up. If you are still bothering to plan this out, it needs a healthy dose of direction, and that one bland entry could benefit from some enthusiasm.

Those who do not know flash, should not comment on it? What then qualifies ppl to comment on anything? How can they know good music from bad, if they are not a composer? I agree that usless reviews which seem derived from more spiteful emotion than actual evaluation are seemly flooding the boards. I try to keep the casualities of my review readers low, myself.

As for portal etiquette, a large percentage of reviewers and animators alike breach the rules on a daily basis. I'm not saying it's right, as I have probably missed a good number of opportunities for whistle points, because I follow the rule saying, I cannot tell inside a review when I am blowing the whistle. But I pick my battles, as do we all.

For this however, it is nice to see some basic, though pleasant animation. Your style is classic clock fashion which I can't dock nor award originality. The sound was quite clear, as some speakonia voices can be hard to understand. I got a chuckle that your character bothered to read the exact words from the rules. In closing, it's a nice flash, very straight forward, communicates your message to the audience effectively.

Do I think it deserves to be on Newgrounds... well my personal opinion is no, since all it does it convey what most already know. Sad thing is, the people who should be watching it, won't bother and if do, won't give a damn. By the way, whether the viewer's opinion agrees with the perspective of the animator or not should remain just that, an opinion. Voting should represent the quality of the flash and not the love of the animator's fan base, not saying that you're one of those type, but it's a personal gripe.

In conclusion of what seems to have become a short essay, good flash. Not because I like it, but because it was well done. By the way, I tend to score my review points based on content, exempting the overall. Sorry, if you don't like long reviews, I ramble.

I loved the style, it saved the graphics from looking scribbly. The music accented the mood nicely. And the text was clear and enjoyable to read, which is a good thing, since this animation was depending a lot on the emotion of the text. Seriously, nice work! I think I need to go and eat some soup.

You have some amazing photography skills, I loved the images. The direction of the mood was well done, even though it did look like an over glorified slide show, still it became something more in the way it communicates directly with those watching it, asking them, telling them and ultimately sharing with them the warmth of the season. Well done!

It would help if you added some identification in your credits, or some credits to start with. Made it back in 2003 eh? You must be much better at it by now. Sure the reviewers wasted your time with their pointless comments, in response to some pointless flash... but the heckling was pretty boring as a rebuttle. I say this was some pretty weak reviewer bashing. You could at least have tried to find funny ones to exploit for some animation accompanyment, you know, something to entertain... as thus the cycle continues, as know you've just provided a platform for more, if not the same commentators to come forward and debunk your review of them in a review of their own. Where's a good bloody stick movie with entrails when you need one?

The items were well detailed and professionally drawn. I only wish there were more of them. Perhaps a menu dresser where you can pull open theme drawers to use items, since it seemed a bit crowded, and yet never enough options. But wow, good animation, the expressions were great... didn't even need sound, though I subconsciously turned up my speakers when he was being tickled... oh well. So cute and awesome at the same time!
